The Hacienda provides housing, meals, individual medical attention, group therapy, classroom and field training, job certification and job placement services.

Natural disasters occur everywhere.  We train marginalized military Veterans who are task oriented and accustomed to focused activities to be First Responders.  Individuals who had meaningful military occupations but no civilian work opportunity and turning them into sawyers clearing roads and ranchers or farmers to feed the people, we are benefiting them and their communities.  BOLD Health wants to take this model and adjust training dependent on local natural disasters (fire, flood, snow earthquake, hurricane, etc.).  The Vets have camaraderie, income and a way to support their families and their communities get immediate relief and access to the outside world while waiting on disaster relief (FEMA/Corp of Engineers).

The Hacienda will generate income from HUD-VASH providing housing and the VA for education/training/job placement.. We will endeavor to contract with the US Forest Service for trail and park maintenance at El Yunque and proposing a permanent Disaster Station on Hacienda land with helipad and storage for relief providers.  The Hacienda will train Vets as sawyers in forest management process and will expand into farming (aquaponic, organic and dirt) and ranching.
